This project consisted of new construction as well as modernization of existing spaces and systems. Construction began with the grading of the site, geo-mitigation, and installation of permanent wall shoring. For the new construction, all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as well as associated underground utilities, site work, and landscaping were completed. The classroom building held (10) classrooms in a two-story classroom building. The landscaping included bioswale planters as a water-saving measure. The modernization included classrooms, library spaces, computer room, art classroom, commercial kitchen, after-school area, and service rooms. The technology backbone and services were upgraded on the entire site.
