Job Description:

Provide senior-level technical expertise; lead and direct the overall management of multiple projects across education, healthcare and commercial sectors. Develop and manage a high-performance team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Collaborate with Project Executives in the development and implementation of project management best practices. Evaluate construction documents for accuracy, constructability and value engineering ideas. Establish and communicate Master Project Schedule to project team for implementation. Foster and enhance client, owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations. Review, evaluate and assess, onboarding of Design and Construction teams including subcontractors, and suppliers and other third-party vendors, including contracts and subcontract agreements. Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions. Analyze progress of project, budget, and financial health of projects with supporting Project Managers through regularly scheduled Operation Review Meetings. Lead bidding efforts including budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects to be built for clients under negotiated bid pricing structure as well as hard bid pursuits. Responsibilities also include soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids and scopes of work, preparing quantity surveys, reviewing project plans and specifications for various categories of work including both large ($30M-70M) and small (less than $10M) projects. As a partner, provide strategic leadership for driving revenue growth, market expansion and overall business development to expand Rodan’s presence and customer base in the South Bay. As a partner, manage the budget for the assigned territory and work with allocated resources effectively to achieve growth targets. Supervise a team of at least 10 project managers, project engineers. Ability to telecommute with manager approval. Travel 45% to domestic client sites.

Education and Experience required:

Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or closely-related and 2 years of construction management experience. (OR: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.)

Rate of Pay:

$175,000 to $220,000 per year
