Job Description:

We are looking for an engaging and dynamic Bid Coordinator to join our Hayward office estimating/marketing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly organized, a cheerleader, and a motivator.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the estimating team for successful bid delivery

  • Provide bidding support including:

    Check for addendums and update/publish on bid list accordingly
    Prepare bid forms
    Schedule job walk attendants and bid runners for bid turn in
    Schedule bid runner for bid turn in

  • Submit all required post bid documentation

  • Request bid bonds

  • Maintain, update and organize data for prequalification

  • Tracking of prequal renewals to ensure good standing with districts

  • Assist in production and delivery of SOQ/P, including coordinating and confirmation of proposal delivery

  • Other administrative task, as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum AA degree with 5-year experience in construction or related field.

  • Extensive knowledge of computer systems including MS Office and Blue Beam. Knowledge of Smartsheet highly preferred.

  • Demonstrate high level interpersonal skills and works cooperatively with others to accomplish tasks.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines.
